Robust IC Designer Was Awarded A $10,000 Microgrant By The State Of California

Robust IC Designer is pleased to announce that on January 4, 2023, it was awarded by the State of California, under the terms of the California Dream Fund Program, a $10,000 Microgrant to start its business.

Robust IC Designer plans to use the funds to fund its ongoing operations in developing the YouTube channel of Robust IC Design University, the Educational Branch of the Robust IC design services it's planning to offer to small Analog and Mixed Signal Integrated Circuit (IC) design firms. Services that are listed at IC Parametric Yield Optimization, Chip Area Reduction, Variability Reduction and Corporate Training. Robust IC Design University, including its YouTube channel, will educate Analog and Mixed Signal IC design engineers and their managers working at small design firms to make them smarter shoppers of Robust IC design services, and enable them to either perform the Robust IC design themselves, or buy the service from the best in class service providers, instead of buying them from large companies that have the best in class sales force.

Robust IC Designer will also use the microgrant funds to develop the proprietary software it needs to be able to offer best in class Robust IC design services, as well as market those services.

Robust IC Designer is hereby thanking the State of California for providing the funds, and Central California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network for providing the training required by the microgrant, and issuing Robust IC Designer the code it needed to submit its grant application. More particularly, Robust IC Designer is hereby thanking Jessica Torres for the intake interview, William Moua for the administrative follow up, the many staff members of Central California SBDC Network who delivered the online training, and Isabel Vargas, who reviewed the whole application packet and made sure everything looked fine before its submission to Lendistry, who was managing the grant funds on behalf of the State of California. Robust IC Designer is also hereby thanking The Sharpest Grant Writer, Tenishia Sharp, who has reviewed three times the business plan required by Lendistry before making a go/no decision regarding the grant. Ms. Sharp suggested numerous improvements to the business plan.
